Welcome! I am Steve, the owner, creator, and contributor to this blog.
I am a retired and disabled veteran, with sixteen years in the United States Air Force. Since retiring from the military due to a disability, I moved to upstate New York, where I currently reside with my wife of nine years, our twenty year old daughter, and our two year old twin son and daughter. Besides creating and adding content to this website, I also manage a podcast, as well as a non-profit photography organization.

Patriot Images is a photography business, specializing in weddings, individual and family portraits, events, etc.
Founder and CEO, Patriot Images New York, Inc.
(2019 – Present)
Patriot Images New York, Inc., is a non-profit organization. In late 2018, I began taking photos of military veterans throughout all sixty-two counties of New York State. There are currently an approximate 840,000 veterans living within New York. Due to COVID-19, the photography project, titled “Faces of Veterans,” was temporarily put on hold until we can safely resume and fund the remaining of the project. There have been over 1,400 veterans and family members throughout ten NY counties, photographed up to this point.
